1. I love these photos captured of these soccer moms on pitch sidelines as they model how they use their Esinti sports towels on a hot humid Saturday morning in Singapore.  These sports towels once again show how useful they are.  It helps to cool you down when the sun rays are beating down hard against the top of your head or on your bare shoulders.  I've seen soccer moms use their Esinti sports towels as a cooling tool as soon as their kids come off the pitch; they dip it in cool water and place it on their son's forehead to cool down their body temperature.  Typical of every Turkish towel, the Esinti Sports towel dries quickly; a wet Esinti sports towel can be dried in the sun between matches of 20 minutes.  As soon as a game of 20 minutes is complete, the dry towel can be reused to mop up the sweat of the soccer player.   Thereafter, the towel can be placed on a seat or on the ground to protect the soccer moms' clothing from getting soiled which cheering on the sidelines.

It is that time of the year again when our kids are giddy with excitement on the prospect of going away on a school planned trip.  The school provides you with a packing list while at the same time warns that the packed bag that the children bring with them needs to be manageable for them to lug around while on the trip.  So... they need lots but it all needs to get into a small bag.  What an easy task, right? The agony typically starts the night before when we start to help our kids prepare for their trip.  Our kids are trembling with excitement while our nerves are fraught with tension and apprehension; we battle with anticipated feelings of missing them and practicality as we guide them into making the right choices in selecting the items to pack for their trip.  Now... how do we fit everything in the suitably-sized luggage / carrier for their school trip? One of the items on the list is a towel.  Well, that's great information.  After all, we understand that our kids will need a towel for their baths which can also double up as a...

A towel is definitely useful.  Is there space for one?  These illustrations show the thought process that went into packing a towel for my Grade 2's trip to Malaysia.  We had space in his carrier for his turkish towel as it was light weight and packed compactly.  This super soft and quick dry towel fulfills all the functionalities outlined above and it completed our check list of items to pack.  One happy camper off to his school trip with a well packed bag that was easy to tote.  He even managed to squeeze in a pack of Uno cards!

P.S. When he returned from his trip, his towel was dry and did not have any sand residue on it.  Luckily it looked used or I would have had to check if my son took any showers while he was away!

Road trips can be fun and tiring at the same time.  While on our recent travel in Inle Lake, Myanmar, we found ourselves on a 1.5 hour road trip from our hotel to the airport.  We were traveling from Heho Airport to Yangon on a morning flight.  As a result, we had to leave the airport early in the morning.  Our boys were roused from their comfortable hotel beds early in the morning and bundled into the hotel car which would be our transport to the airport.  Needless to say, it took a mere five minutes on the road before they found comfortable positions and were fast asleep.  The air-conditioning in the Toyota Alphard was blowing hard and it was a little too dusty outside for us to turn off the air-conditioning and wind the windows down.  Instead I pulled out my trusty Turkish towel and placed it over my sleeping boys as a blanket.  My boys continued to enjoy their slumber during our 1.5 hour ride to Heho Airport.  

We continued on our travel from Yangon to Inle Lake.  Nile Lake is the second largest lake in Myanmar and located in the township of Taunggyi District of Shan state.  We stayed at the Novotel Hotel which is located right on the lake.  When we arrived at Inle Lake, it was clouded over with a temperature of 14C. I was forewarned that it would be rather chilly at Inle Lake especially when the boat races across the water.  Our Turkish towels came in handy as we started to wrap our necks with our towels to keep ourselves warm and cosy.  As Turkish towels are made of 100% cotton, they were comfortable and soft and great as neck warmers.  The makeshift neck warmers helped to protect us from the biting wind and we were comfortable enough to truly enjoy the ride as our boat man took us to Indein Pagoda (must see!) and various villages thriving on the lake.  The sun emerged during the day and our towels were used as sarong wraps to cover up certain areas of our bodies as we visited the pagodas and monasteries.  We decided to stay out on the lake to experience a sunset that Inle Lake is well renowned for.  We were not disappointed but rewarded with a gorgeous sunset over the Inle Lake.  As soon as the sun went down, the temperature dropped and it started feeling like it was 15C.  Lucky for us, we had our Turkish towels and we pulled them out to use as blankets and neck warmers.  We had such a fun time at Inle Lake.
